True healing is priceless
Therapy for a Life that Answers Back
Slowing Down. Listening Deeply. Living Fully.
Start therapy from the safety of your own space
Guiding you through relational wounds and emotional storms with grounded, depth-focused therapy. You need support that helps you understand what’s happening inside, and respond with more choice and calm.
Self-pay sessions are 90 minutes, giving us room to go deeper and follow what emerges. We can also meet more than once a week if that better supports your process.
I honor and celebrate the full spectrum of gender identity and sexual orientation. This is an affirming practice for LGBTQ+ individuals.
When emotions feel overwhelming
Perhaps your reactions feel bigger than the moment warrants. Grief arrives in waves. Relationships repeat the same painful patterns. You find yourself wanting closeness and distance at once, calm and intensity equally. Managing emotions alone feels hard. If this sounds familiar, you've found the right place to gain safer ground within yourself.
Relational Trauma
Work through wounds from difficult relationships with care. Understand the parts of you that pull toward closeness and the parts that want to protect by pulling away.
Creative Process
Explore feelings beneath the surface in a safe space. Move at a pace that honors loss, rather than being pushed to “move on”. Develop a steadier inner relationship with yourself, even during emotional surges
Emotional Depth
Support for artists and professionals navigating inner challenges. Learn how different creative “parts” of you show up under stress, self-doubt, or creative blocks. Stay connected to your body and emotions while deepening access to your creative voice More poetic
About
Resonant Psychotherapy is an online practice rooted in a simple truth: distress often comes from a disconnection from ourselves, others, and our values. Drawing on person-centered psychotherapeutic approaches, and the work of many others, ranging from Richard Schwartz to Hartmut Rosa, Marsha Linehan to Byung-Chul Han, and Steven C. Hayes to Martin Buber, I see healing as restoring resonance: that felt sense of being truly met. We will create space for presence and meaningful conversation, helping you find clarity and renewed connection with life, especially when facing burnout, anxiety, or loss of meaning.
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia, shaped by life in my native Northern Virginia as well as seasons in California, Texas, Spain, and Chile. Living across continents taught me that resonance transcends language and culture. When I'm not in session, you'll find me painting, exercising, writing songs and poems, or lingering over meals with people I love, always drawn to laughter.
My certifications post graduate school are:
PESI Certified Parts Work Trauma Specialist
PESI Certified Trauma Professional (CTP)
PESI Certified Sex Therapy–Informed Professional (CSTIP)
Internal Family Systems Online Circle Certificate (IFS)

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a diagnosis to start therapy?
No. You don’t need a label to be here. Therapy focuses on your lived experience, not on fitting you into a diagnosis. However, I do provide a diagnosis when required for insurance reimbursement (superbill).
Can therapy help if my emotions feel very intense or hard to control?
Yes. We work with those experiences gently, helping you stay present with what you feel without being flooded or shut down. However, sometimes people feel worse when starting therapy before improvement sets in. I will monitor your experiences and support you along the way exploring referrals to other supports if you need additional resources.
What is your approach like in sessions?
Sessions are person-centered, collaborative, trauma-informed, and paced with care. We pay attention to your nervous system, Self energy, and explore different parts of you with curiosity and compassion, helping emotions feel more understandable and manageable over time.
Do you work with grief that doesn’t follow a timeline?
Absolutely. Grief doesn’t move in a straight line, and there’s no expectation to “move on.” Therapy makes space for loss at your pace, honoring how it lives in both your body and your inner world.
How can I contact you?
You can reach us by [phone number/email address/contact form link]. We are always happy to answer your questions.
Is virtual therapy effective for this kind of work?
Yes. Many clients find virtual sessions allow them to feel safer and more grounded, especially when working with vulnerable emotions. Somatic and parts-based work can be done effectively online.
